Street scenes in Montreal – Chief John Sark, of the once-powerful tribe of Micmac Indians, gazing at the sculptured figure of an Iroquois chieftain on the pedestal of the Maisonneuve monument in the Place d’Armes. The large medal on his breast is an heirloom dating from the 18th century. It was given to one of his ancestors by King Louis of France.
