This obituary is very interesting for the fact that Ernest had not lived in Victoria, BC for over 20 years, but was merely there visiting his family. He left his wife and four children behind in Ilford, near London. The obituary is actually wrong saying that he only had four kids, when in fact he had five surviving children: Harold, Irene, Grace, Norman and Hilda. Harold was the son who was living in Valparaiso, Chile.
