		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve just stumbled upon your blog after searching Google for David Mair, who is my Great Uncle and who is listed in the article you posted above. In 1861 he was the President of the Caledonian Society of Montreal and then went on to be Secretary. He then moved out to a small place called Cowansville in the Eastern Townships where he was Mayor.
